Enigma Is Now on the Web
Since we launched Enigma, one of the most consistent requests from our community has been simple: bring Enigma to the web. Not just a submission form – but the feed, the map, the ability to explore hundreds of thousands of sightings, connect with other witnesses, and follow the cases that matter to you. We’ve just delivered on that, we're launching the Enigma web app.
A Full Enigma Experience in Your Browser
The web has always had a version of Enigma as a place to submit sightings, explore country and state pages, and read an individual report if you had the link. But there was no feed of curated videos, and no way to discover the 250K+ sightings we’ve aggregated around the globe.
The Enigma web app, now live at app.enigmalabs.io, changes that. You can create an account, log in, explore Top Sightings, investigate the map, and access your profile – all without leaving your browser.
Log In and Bring Your Account with You
Sign up with your phone number, Apple, or Google. If you already have an Enigma account from the mobile app, your credentials work here too. Everything syncs: sightings you submitted on mobile and your profile customizations.
Top Sightings
Once you're logged in, you'll land in Top Sightings. It's the same curated stream of sightings from the app: our best reports, compelling media, and active discussions. You can open any sighting to see the full case in a side panel: witness story, media, structured data such as shape, and the comments happening around it.
The Map
The map is our primary tool for finding and exploring sightings, and it's now fully available on the web. It comes with a deep set of filters: narrow by media type (video, audio, image), shape, date range, time of day, number of witnesses, source, duration, and Enigma Score. The map updates in real time as you adjust your selections, so you can zero in on exactly what you're looking for without leaving the page.
You can also search by location or by Enigma ID. Type in a city or region and the map will zoom and bound to that area, surfacing every matching sighting there — useful whether you're tracking a local pattern or looking up a specific case.
Submissions
You've always been able to submit a sighting on the web, and that hasn't changed. What's new is what comes after. At the end of the submission flow, you'll have the option to create an account and dive straight into the web app — so you can claim your sighting, stay connected to any updates or comments, and continue your relationship with Enigma beyond the moment of submission. Anonymous submissions remain supported for anyone who prefers them.
If you have previously submitted on the web and want to claim your sighting after the fact, you can email us at hello@enigmalabs.io with your case number. We'll ask a few questions to confirm it's yours and add it to your account!
Your Profile
Once you log in you can access your profile to see every report you've submitted — with its Enigma ID, location, date, time, and moderation status. We’ve enabled resubmissions on web, meaning you can revise an existing submission in case you want to add more details from your sighting. You can also update your profile picture and display name from the web. Your record, in one place, on any device.
What's Next
The web app is a foundation, not a finish line. More features are coming. We're working on additional map layers and bringing more of the mobile experience to the browser. We'll share more as we go.
In the meantime, if you're reading this on the web: head to app.enigmalabs.io, log in, and take a look around.
